M’dame runs the ship. Or at least, she’s trying to. The Clan of the Crab has never had issues docking at their precious safe port until now. The island has turned into a place of stowaways, kidnapping, magic unknown, symbiote upheaval, forbidden relationships, and some downright bloody messes. Not the good kind either. If that wasn’t bad enough, forgotten symbiote history and non-hosts secrets are revealed, adding insult to the chaos. Working with her closest colleague, the General, and the Clan’s governing body, The Council, she is trying to get to the bottom of these upheavals and just relax… damn it… it’s an island.

Amanda Lopez was born and raised as a military brat moving all over the world. Her travels include the United States (Hawaii and Alaska included), Mexico, Japan, Great Britain, France, Barbados, and the Bahamas. Her ancestry to Scotland has led her to visit her ancestral clan’s lands multiple times. She graduated with a Masters in Professional Accountancy and a BBA from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. She is happily married with a daughter now attending the University of Houston. Besides being an avid traveler, her hobbies include art, sewing, dancing. music and of course reading! Her planning for new adventures is contagious.
